"We do what we say and we keep our promises"
At Bestseller, we believe that people and the environment are just as important as the clothes we make.
We do not own any factories but more than 300 independent suppliers produce Bestseller's products in 1000 factories worldwide. Most of the factories are situated in China, India, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Italy.
We firmly believe that the men and women who make our products are entitled to decent working conditions. So in 2002, we decided to write down an ethical set of rules; Bestseller's Code of Conduct, to clarify to our co-workers, suppliers, and customers which minimum standards we demand from our suppliers and the working conditions at their factories.
Bestseller's Code of Conduct is an integrated part of our day-to-day activities and the decisions we make. It is not a perfect world and our Code of Conduct is no guarantee, but we are constantly working hard to use our influence to contribute to the improvement of the conditions in the factories.
Today, more than 20 Bestseller colleagues work with Bestseller's Code of Conduct in the countries where our products are produced.
