The items you trade in do not have to be in perfect condition, but we kindly ask that they are clean with all the original labels intact. Minor flaws will be fixed by capable hands at our facilities if needed and will not reflect your re-sell value. For more information, read our terms and conditions below.
Terms and conditions
As part of our re:selected initiative, you can exchange your used Selected clothing for gift cards. By trading-in your clothing, you agree that gift cards will only be issued for clothing that live up to these terms and conditions and that clothing that does not meet the requirements will NOT be returned to you.
Clothing that does not meet our requirements will be donated to charity or given to companies that can reuse the clothing or fibres from the clothing.
Re:selected is a national initiative limited to customers residing in Denmark, Germany and Netherlands.
Requirements for the clothes you trade-in: We accept Selected clothing that is clean, and where all original labels are intact. This includes the necklabel (brand label in the neck) as well as the carelabel.
How to trade in your clothes: Re:selected Trade-in is for everyone who has a customer account in the Selected universe. An account is free of charge and can be deleted at any time. Via your customer account, you can register the Selected products you wish to trade in. In connection with the registration, you can see the exchange value for the product in question. The exchange value is the value you will receive as a gift card in exchange for your clothing. Once you have completed your registration, you will receive a shipping label that you can use to send your garments. This shipping label is prepaid by Selected. Once you have handed over your package to the post office, you cannot cancel your trade-in, and we will not return your products.
Gift vouchers: You will receive a gift voucher once we have confirmed that the submitted clothing fulfils the above requirements. Gift vouchers are sent to the email address you have provided. Gift vouchers can be used for purchases on selected.com and in our physical Selected stores. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash.
